When you connect your mobile device to a USB-C computer, you can transfer data such as photo, video, and audio files at up to 10 Gbps. USB 3.1 cables can deliver 4K (UltraHD) video, and audio, from your laptop, phone or tablet to your HDTV or monitor.
Can USB-C carry video and power?
It can also support lots of different types of data – including video – and power over a single connector. USB-C boasts much faster charging and can deliver power at up to 100 watts at 20 volts. This means that larger devices can now be charged from USB, including laptops and tablets.
