What is the story of Icarus?

Icarus. Icarus was the son of the famous craftsman Daedalus in Greek mythology. His father was the creator of the Labyrinth, a huge maze located under the court of King Minos of Crete, where the Minotaur, a half-man half-bull creature lived. In order for the secret of the Labyrinth to be kept, Minos had then imprisoned Daedalus

What is the message of Icarus and Daedalus?

The Icarus and Daedalus full story is one of the most popular Greek myths, known at least superficially to many, as it is a powerful allegory for both the heights of human achievement and the hubris – pride in its worst sense – that can go with it. The allegory shows us to strive but also to not forget caution and humility.

How did Zeus teach Icarus to fly?
He taught Icarus how to fly and warned him not to fly too high, which would cause the wax to melt, nor too low, which would cause the feathers to get wet with sea water. Who were Zeus’ Lovers? How was the World created? What is the Trojan Horse? Together, they flew out of the tower towards freedom.
